Muckish Mountain Fisherty, Upper Moyra, Falcarragh, Donegal

Halfway between Falcarragh and Mount Muckish is the townland of Upper-Moyra. The river needs to be crossed at the old Railway Bridge behind 'Falcarragh Station' which belongs now to history. A signpost beside the station indicates the 4km distance to Falcarragh.

Coming from Letterkenny follow the coastal road (N56) to Glenveagh National Park (turn left after Termon). A few miles after Glenveagh turn right, follow Falcarragh sign until Falcarragh Station where you turn right and cross the steel bridge. Continue for half a mile after bridge.

The top map shows the position in relation to Letterkenny and the smaller scale map below shows the position of the fishery on the Ray River and in relation to Falcarragh.
